new home... here we come

Big news! In our hunt for jobs Aaron was offered an excellent position in Cambridge, Massachusetts. We are both so excited for the move, but are sad to have only two more months in Chicago for a very long time. After Europe we will be heading almost directly to Boston. Though I've never been, I've heard such wonderful things about Boston. I'm really looking forward to starting a new life there. Life for the first time as a non-student! I've been combing through Craigslist looking for apartments, and may even go in April with Aaron to look at a few. I don't want to get my hopes up - its hard to move (as I learned this summer in DC) - but I think Boston will be a great new place to get to know! Yay!

CONGRATS! How exciting! I LOVE Boston & Cambridge. Mike is originally from Boston and most of his extended family still lives there. We've gone several times to visit. My favorite spot is Old North Church. I could sit there for hours. To me, it's one of those places where you can feel the history around you. I really wanted to have our wedding there but it was a 3 year waiting list at the time. Mike's Pastry is also a must visit. Yum.
Congrats again!

Wow! Congrats! :) I hear it's so beautiful there! I hope you don't have as much trouble as you did in DC... Good luck!

Congrats!

I have two friends in Boston--one is in law school and one is married and works for a union. I will have to give you their info if you want it. Both are from Chicagoland.

I plan on visiting them sometime in the next year, so that means I'll be visiting you too!

Jeff's parents both grew up in Ma, Westfield to be exact (average age of all residents 93 years old...no joke). His grandma just passed and his mom has decided to keep the house as a "vacation" home. It actually is a fun idea - we have been thinking about all the day trips we could do. Now you can be one of our day trips! It is only about 2 hours...not so bad.
